Andrès Felipe Romero, simply in art: Felipe Born in Saint Fè de Bogotà d.c., Colombia, October 18, 1983 second the actions of birth; even if in reality his native city is the "Musical Capital" of Colombia, Ibaguè. Since I was child he expresses a great sensibility for the music and the philharmonic societies. He began to draw near to the music at 8 year-old age, entering to belong to the scholastic band playing the drum. In 1995 he moves to Italy, where he starts his average-superior scholastic studies, and where he starts to have a different approach with the music and with a different culture; that European and particularly that Italian. In 1998 he enters to belong to the philharmonic society of Mattie (To), where he studies sol-fa and he learns to play trombone; where he still plays and where he began playing percussions. In 2002 he starts to study vocal technique and modern song with the association “Lizzart” in Turin; after having made his first casting and taken conscience that you cannot live dreaming to open eyes, and that the future is built by yourself every day working and studying. Inscribed at the university of Turin he studies Linguistic Mediation, he speaks English, Spanish (idioms in which he writes his lyrics, besides Italian), French (a scholastic level). The first written song, also the first song of the demo is dated 2002 and it entitles "Tu Mugrosa Cara" (Your Dirty Face). Strong point for his following contests, succeeding in getting consents and satisfactions. The sonorities of the demo are a mix of Latin sounds with those European pop/rocks and with R&B, rap-hip-hop, some Arabic resonance mixed reggeaton; sonority that influences his life and that represent the two cultures in which growth has lived. The musical gender results so a "Etno-pop", that picks up all the perfumes and the colors of the city multietnica that today it is the planet. Lyrics and melodies are written by the undersigned and the songs mainly have the double version (Italian/spanish). Demo produced by himself and he employed 3 years to give 10 ended songs to the light and complete. Built in three times: 2003 (Tu Mugrosa Cara, Thanks to You and Quiero); 2005 (En El Mundo hay Dolor, El Mundo Es Lleno de Estrellas, Talking To the Wind, Ojalà); 2006 (Siempre ft. Irene Rotondale, duet with the singer jazz Irene Rotondale; Ardiendo). The project has been possible graces the weekend at work and to the seasons as waiter, dishwasher, help cook and cook in a restaurant-pizzeria near the zone where he resides. Artistic life is developed on the stages of contests and festival where he tries to propose his own music and his own style. He began this trial in 2004 with the contest "Pop&Co. ", in 2005 with the GTT (Group of Transports of Turin) he participates to "Next Stop the Success, 3° edition"; in 2006 to the "Hit Festival of Saint-Vincent (Aosta) ", "Premio Poggio Bustone, 2° edition". During this period he participated to other contests and he sent parts of the demo to different contests , met small independent labels, concluded the demo of 9 songs and servant a collaboration with Dacs Selecta, with which has created the site internet www.felipemusic.it. For 2007, participating in the Midem of Cannes in its 41° edition, Felipe hopes to be able to open his mind to the horizons of the world of music, since this event is the place where all the reliable operators in the musical industry come to contact and to explore the new commerce. He believes both a good showcase to be able to show, even some more simply but intensive, a demo born for being made public, but that for obvious motives it finds some difficulty in the known being; then what best occasion to see in first person thing the record world can think of this project. With the awareness that is a project some audacious, however that can involve any zone of the world, thanks also to his experience of "Citizen of the World", it hopes to be able to draw a beautiful experience from what is the 2007 greatest and important European assembly, the Midem, with the stand "Italy in Music." On March 2007 he travelled in London, Uk where he attended a college to improve his English and at the same time to catch new sounds for his music. "Tu Mugrosa cara" partecipated in the compilation of the latin magazine BOOM! At the moment, the main objective is to spread this material in more places where is possible, and give this to all the people who can read among this words.
