About 11 MOVES
11 MOVES is a band that has been influenced by bands such as Pink Floyd, Dredg, Soilwork, 30 Seconds to Mars, Tool, Sevendust ... just to name a few. We want to bring back the kind of music you can truly sit through an entire album of. Our songs intertwine and create an overall concept for the album, not just a collection of 3 minute radio tunes geared towards short attention spans and fad seekers. We play what we feel, and we are not afraid to play lead guitar when the moment calls for it.
The song available on this site is just an early PRE-PREDUCTION demo. It’s really intended as a sneak peak at our sound. The corners are still rough because this is the original recording the song was written from in our home studio. The actual album will contain newly recorded versions of all songs with the production you would come to expect from a professional record label. Your comments are appreciated though, and a good guess because I know the name might not mean much to people without knowing why we chose it. As for sounding like AIC, well... I'll take that as a compliment any day. Personally, I don't hear it.... but then again I can't hear from your perspective. We just do what we do, and everyone is going to have their own take on who we sound like.
