About Anne Gomez
Anne Gomez is Scot/Irish/Welsh origin,& is a dedicated Traditional Celtic Vocalist. She spent her childhood in competition festivals of Scottish song & can't remember a time when music was not pulsing through her being. She has had many years of vocal training--mainly with Celtic songs & says she can now enjoy making music without the competition element.Anne sings, plays Bodhran & Mandolin with Folk Band--Trochrague & is also pursuing her solo performing along with her song writing. She writes mainly from her own life experience And her song "sweet Colleen" has had some airplay in recent months,in Arizona & Slovenia.Sweet Colleen is a naustalgic portrayal of her late parents' life journey. It is a love ballad.Anne has great respect for the Scottish Bard-- Robert Burns,& she decided to write a "conversation" re modern life as if she was sharing it with the great bard." Thoughts Wi Rabbie" follows a pipe solo--" Loch Rannoch"which blends seemlessly into the song.Anne has used the tune of "A Man's A Man" to accentuate her lyrics for the song.Vs 1 & 5 are Burns...Vs 2,3 & 4 are Gomez.Anne hopes you will enjoy her music as much as she enjoys making it.
