About Mouth of the Serpent
Mouth of the serpent was started in early 2007, with Gary and Andy on guitars. They wrote one song, recorded a rough take of it, and began recruiting members. The first inductee, Luis (on bass), brought a whole new approach to the style they were going for - in terms of having a more straight up death metal influence. Riley joined the band shortly thereafter, on vocals. Riley's vocals define the genre that Mouth of the Serpent really fits into - heavily influenced by death metal and hardcore/metalcore. Caleb then joined up on drums, bringing a unique style of rock/indie-pop drumming to the death metal scene.
Their first release, the Mouth of the Serpent EP (released Sept. 20th, 2007), includes the three songs you hear on this page. They are currently promoting it like crazy, and looking to play as many shows as possible! Contact them on this page for booking.
