Big Mo's Grooves

Born in Chicago, IL, I learned how to survive by thinking fast and moving faster.

I learned how to play the violin at age 5, guitar at 6, piano while in high school, where I fell in love with the bass guitar and have never let it down since.

Although I went through a shit load of heart aches and very bad situations, I've been blessed enough to be around people who would teach me something even though they might exploit my talents or skills. My mother wanted me to be a musician, and most of my family thought it would be cool, even though they thought that I wouldn't amount to much. Who cares? They can kiss my ass, and the ones who were all for me, much love and respect!

Musicians Wanted - Keyboardists
Big Mo & the Phat Groove is looking for a keyboardist familiar and well versed in blues, funk and r&b music to finish out the band in the Central Illinois area. Must be willing and available to rehearse at least twice a week. We have bass, two guitars and drums at this point. We have gigs in August and a good keyboardist would round off the sound that we are attempting to create.
