Claudio Estevam is singer, songwriter, accoustic and eletric guitar player and musical producer. Borned at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Claudio Estevam started his career at 1986, when started to sing and play his first own tunes and other Brazilian author's songs. The young songwriter likes to blend sophysticaded harmonies and melodies with refined tones and textures - accoustic and electronic instruments. His songs come from MPB, passing by Samba, Funk and going to Soul and Jazz. At the 1990's beginning, he decided to study guitar and harmony with Sergio Benevenuto at Rio Musica, because he felt the need to expand his own musical horizons. He believes that the harmony be the songwritting and arrengement's basis. At 2001, released his debut album, the CD "Outra Cor", and independant production that brings a blending of Brazilian Music, Soul, Funk, R&B and Acid Jazz. Produced and arranged by Claudio Estevam, this EP has featured participation of great musicians like: Marcelo Mariano, João Castilho, Sacha Amback, Jesse Sadoc Filho, Lelei, Andre Rodrigues, Lilian Valeska and Claudia dos Santos. Ever since, the artist is spreading out this album on the web through his official site www.claudioestevam.mus.br, the MP3 web sites, the interactive media and his concerts. Among the places that he has presented himself we can talk about: Far Up, Vinicius, Giraldia Up Jazz, Night Rio..s, Lona Cultural João Bosco, Casa de Cultura Estacio de Sa, Toq Final, Tribunal de Contas do Municipio do Rio de Janeiro, Supremo Musical (SP), Opinião (POA), MPBAR (São João Del Rey), Alferes (São João Del Rey) e Nuth (RJ), Estrela da Lapa(RJ), New Books(RJ), Armazem Digital Leblon(RJ). Actually Claudio Estevam is releasing his new album "Urbano Pop Plugado", an independant production blending soul, samba, jazz, r&b and pop music. This album presents 14 new own Claudio Estevam'songs arranged and produced by himself. This new artist likes the grooves and modern music - Don't mather the style - It has to sound amazing !!! D&B, Jazz, Funk, Soul, House, acoustic and samples all is music!!! His new album "Urbano Pop Plugado" features great musicians as Marcos Suzano - percussion, Jessé Sadoc - trumpet and flugel, George Fonseca - Rhodes and Hammond, Cláudio Souza - electric bass and others...
