About Alice Parris
Alice Parris is a poet, Spoken Word Artist, songwriter and jazz singer. She has been highly published as a poet in the United States, Canada, Great Britain and India. Her Spoken Word CD is entitled Soulgasm and has received rave reviews. Mrs. Parris enjoys the Torch song, but also sings old jazz standards with a Billie Holiday-esque turn of phrase. The great jazz vocalists of the 40's and 50's have also been highly inspirational.
