Houston, Texas native Aaron Courtland debuts himself and his music in the spring of 2008.  As a 24 year young man he's been working toward this moment all his life.  His music isn't comparitive to any other artist currently promoting themselves.  His music holds up however, with other artist like KO's, Gnarls Barkley, Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown, Usher, Gavin Degraw, Marc Broussard, Fink and Clarence Greenwood from Citizen Cope.  Aaron Courtlands music delivers a positive message and lyrics about things that we can all relate to.  He offers a sultry, soulful sound sometimes with a little rock edge and one of those voices that is very melodic. 

'I recently traveled to Austin, TeXas for their 2008 SXSW Conference/Festival.  It was such a great experience that will motivate me over this new year.  I can now say that I gather inspiration from all types of people, that I come into contact with any given day, whether it be other musicians or an ostrich farmer. I can't wait to go back next year and participate again.  Showcasing my music and film work.'
